Fighting for Lee!

Hello, Everyone.

I just want to say that I LOVE that so many artists are so willing to give.  Since I had so many responses to the Fighting for Lee Benefit I thought I would do a little back-story on our friend Sadessa's little boy and how he needs your help. 

Leland is four years old and is from Des Moines, iowa. After an MRI, it was discovered that Leland had multiple tumors and a fluid filled cyst in his brain. The majority of his tumors are considered in-oprable but on June 10th, Lee went to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and on June 16th, he underwent brain surgery where the surgeon removed 90% from the largest tumor. Our friends were told that this would not cure Lee and he has now been diagnosed with Brain Cancer. Lee needs 9-12 months of chemotherapy to shrink the tumors and prolong his life..... this is where YOU come in.

On August 28th the family is having a "Fighting for Lee Benefit" at the Norwoodville Community Center at 3077 NE 46th Avenue.  Part of this Benefit is going to be an Art Auction where pieces of art are being donated to this family from across the state. 

WANT TO DONATE ART? Please do so! We are collecting art through July 30th so we can deliver it to the family before the benefit! Stop by anytime during business hours to drop off your art and be sure to tape your contact information to the back of the piece so the family knows who helped out with such a great cause.

DON'T WANT TO DONATE ART? That's fine. You don't have to! You can instead attend the Benefit and buy some great local art for a great price AND STILL HELP SOMEONE!! It's a win-win!
